Sports facilities at AUDA Eklavya Academy commenced in Ahmedabad

The various sports facilities at Eklavya Sports Academy, the AUDA-GCA venture were left opened amidst fanfare and cheers of budding sports aspirants to-day morning. Mr. Parimal Nathwani, the vice president of Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) lighted the lamp to mark the formal commencement of the facilities in presence of office-bearers of AUDA and GCA among others. AUDA Chairman Mr. Dharmendrabhai Shah and CEO Mrs D. Tara Specially remained present on this occasion.
The GCA is assigned to manage the Eklavya Academy under the guidance of the GCA president and Honorable Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and GCA vice presidents Mr. Amit Shah and Mr. Parimal Nathwani.
The objective of the Academy is to prepare the national level sportsmen in various games. To start with, the Academy is ready with the swimming pool, skating rink, table tennis, volley ball and tennis in the first phase. Walkers and joggers are already using the Academy’s tracks. In a short period of time from now, the Academy will launch facilities for Cricket, Karate, Gymnasium, Yoga and adventure sports also.
There has been a good response to this initiative and about 2000 aspirants of different sports collected the forms. The GCA also intends to commence coaching for beginners and advance learners. The Academy will remain open from morning six till ten at night. The Sports Complex of the Academy is equipped at present with seven table tennis tables, four international quality synthetic tennis courts of 36 ft. by 78 ft. each; roller skating rink with 200 mtrs circumference and practice rink in the centre; 50 mtrs by 25 mtrs swimming-cum-diving pool with 4.5 ft shallow water depth and 24 ft maximum depth; and two volleyball courts each measuring 18 mtrs x 9 mtrs. All these sports have one head coach each. In addition, table tennis and tennis have three assistant coaches each. For roller skating and volley ball, the Academy has one assistant coach each; but for swimming there are five assistant coaches besides a head coach. The facilities leave ample scope for large number of regular players as well as learners in different batches combined.
Among those who remained present during inauguration included Chairman-Standing Committee of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Mr. Bhupendrabhai Patel and the local councilors, AUDA engineers Mr. Doshi and Mr. Pathak etc. GCA Secretary Mr. Rajesh Patel, joint secretaries Mr Mehul Patel, Mr. Bharat Dudhia and Mr. Ashok Saheba and treasurer Mr. Dhiraj Jogani also attended the function. CBCA president Mr. Bharat Jhaveri, secretary Mr. Anil Patel and district office-bearers, coaches and host of sports lovers graced the function.

Ahmedabad is called as metro city. However, the swimming pool at Eklavya Sports Complex is not having a family batch for swimming. BMC Swimming pool at Baroda (Wadi-wadi) is having this facility. Believe me, this is one of the best facility we enjoyed there. All our family members used to go for evening family batch (60.0pm).
Request Wellocity to start family swimming batches here also.
If the family batch is not possible, you may also consider to change the timing for ladies as the afternoon timing is not suitable for working women.
There seems to be not enough public awareness about this complex and its facilities.
Request Wellocity to consider the above points.

We are happy that near our house one swimming pool is started. We are happy with fast admin procedure. but this new swimming pool needs some modification from functionality points. Like
1. swimming time should be atlease 4 hours. So, Groups can be distributed. Nowadays, we feeling very rush in swimming pool.
2. Bathroom shower has not enough pressure.
3. There is no carpet in inner part of bathroom area.
and lots more..
We feeling rush in entry sheet also. They need 2 entry books also.
is this academy provides various sport training in the comparison of common wealth and Olympics. if yes then i would interested to train my child in future reference. i found that haryana goes fast in sports other then india. so please give me proper answer.

NOW KARATE COACH MR. SUSHMIT GOHIL FORCE ALL STUDENT TO PAY MORE MONEY IN MIDDLE TERM.
WITHOUT ANY NOTICE GCA AGREE WITH COACH.
PLEASE DO NEEDFUL ACTION FOR FEES HIKE, FROM 150/MONTH TO 600/MONTH.

swimming pool is closed since a week and our days are wasting.no proper arrangement for swimming at all.
there has been lot of concerns by members and some of them need urgetn attention
i request mgmt of GCA and welloocity to look in to it

swimmig pool menegment is very very bed ,not clinging water and not activ filter-plant after within Three manth problem bat not solusan????????

eklavya sports academy s swimming pool is most dirtiest in the world. its create some new infection in the human body. GCA not taken any action since long time. Between 12 months pool is close for 2 times for cleaning & other problems. compare of other swimming pool in ahmedabad like sardar patel stadium take double fee from members. this facility is for city people not for business ?????!!!!!. Coach of the pool is very bad for teaching & maintaining water. MR. Mehul mistry is not experience coach. Dirty pool is invites skin deices.
GCA management enter new member above capacity of pool !!!!!, I offer management for visit another swimming pool for better services & facilites.
I also request for reduce membership fee which very high in compare to high grade pool in ahmedabad. I hope GCA committe take positive action in above matter.
hi my kids just join this academy and before that they r at private coach. my kids r skaters and i got very good rink facilities in this rink.
i m really thankful to this academy to manage this rink in good condition. here i have request to provide some more good practice for quad skaters who r really reach at good level and feel lacking for road practice. I KINDLY REQUEST U TO DO SOMETHING FOR ROAD PRACTICE AS IT IS ALWAYS THERE IN ALL COMPETITION AND OUR KIDS NOT GET GOOD SCORE IN THAT PART. ALSO GIVE PERMISSION TO THE COACH AND SKATERES TO PRACTICE FOR MORE TIME IN THIS RINK FOR COMPETITION PREPARATION WITH GOOD AND ENOUGH LIGHTING.
AS THIS ACADEMY IS BEST IN ALL THE WAY JUST TAKE IT TO SOME NEW TOP WITH FULFILLING ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF GOOD PLAYERS.
