A high-level delegation of Mozambique govt meets Gujarat CM

A high-level delegation of Government of Mozambique, led by their Agriculture Minister Mr. Jose Pacheco today paid a courtesy on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
The members of the delegation were impressed by the revolutionary success in land use, high-tech agriculture and water management in Gujarat, despite water scarcity in the state. They sought Gujarat’s co-operation in high-tech agriculture and human resource development for dairy industry.
The Chief Minister gave a presentation on Gujarat’s efforts and achievements in the three ‘white revolutions’ in common salt, milk and cotton. He said that cattle rearing have also been a very developed economy.
He said that buffaloes of Banni region and cows of Gir are the famous breed and that Gujarat would be too glad to extend cow breeding in Mozambique, even as the people of Gujarat have a long association with Mozambique in Africa.
Gujarat’s Principal Agriculture Secretary R.K. Tripathy and Chief Minister’s Secretary A.K. Sharma were also present during the meeting.
