-Women’s’ cell of Ahmedabad BJP to protests against price hike and corruption of central government at Naherunagar circle in Ahmedabad at 3.00 pm on Sunday.
-Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will give special water supply between 4.30 to 6.00 am on 21st of June on occasion of Rathyatra.
-Muslim Congress men led by leader of opposition in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Shri Badruddin Sheikh will greet Jagdish Mandir Mahant Shri Dilipdasji Maharaj on 18th of June at 5.30 pm on the occasion of Rathyatra(on 21 June).
-Election of new Chairman, Vice Chairman and Chairman and members of other committees of Gujarat Bar Council will be held on Sunday at 4.00 pm . There are 25 members of Gujarat Bar Council. Majority of them including former MP Vijay Patel are BJP supported. The election of 25 members of Bar Council was recently held. Bar Council of Gujarat is mother body of 62,000 lawyers across Gujarat.
-During first two days of Kanya Kelavni Mahotsav 2012, as many as 3.20 lakh children have enrolled in the schools. Rs 5.82 crore fund has been raised from the people. More than 50,858 girls have received Narmada bond worth Rs 10,17,16,000 during the first two days of the movement.
-Gir sanctuary is closed for tourists for four months due to monsoon. In last season the sanctuary witnessed 38% rise in tourists arrival.
-Gujarat government has appointed 12 experts in the advisory committee of Children University.
