Rohit Shetty, the director of new Hindi film Bol Bachchan has decided to release his film early in Gujarat compare to rest of the country.
Shetty will release the film at midnight in Gujarat for the convenience of the women observing the auspicious Jayaparvati fast.
Jayaparvati fast began on July 1 in Gujarat and will end Friday. As per the tradition on the fifth day of the fast, women stay awake all night and break the fast the next morning. On Jagarn night, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation opens gardens and lake front area for free and exclusive entry of women throughout the night. Extra police bandobast is specially arranged during these hours.
For entertainment of women on vrat, Rohit Shetty has decided to schedule two shows of “Bol Bachchan” — 12 a.m. to 3 a.m. and 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. — much before the release of the movie anywhere else in India.
Loosely based on 1979 film “Golmaal”, “Bol Bachchan” features Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Asin Thottumkal and Prachi Desai.
