Jamnagar, 6 July 2012
In February this year, Congress workers had thrown black ink over civic official in Vadodara, following which the city witnessed civic employees strike.
Same thing repeated yesterday in Ahmedabad when a Congress worker threw black ink over civic official in Shahpur muster station.
Gujarat Congress had last week announced agitation programmes in city areas to win the hearts of voters. As part of this yesterday few Congress workers led by Shahpur MLA Gyasuddin Sheikh visited Shahpur muster station to submit a memorandum on local gutter/water and other issues.
One of the workers in the group suddenly threw black ink over the muster station official. Police complaint has been filed against three Congress men including one Councillor.
