During Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s Japan visit, JETRO(Japan External Trade Organization) is organizing number of seminars and business meets. One such event took place today in Hamamatsu.

JETRO in its presentation before the Japanese investors today narrated three major advantages of investing in Gujarat.

The first advantage is about excellent power infrastructure. JETRO said that the companies can save 30 to 50% power cost in Gujarat, as there’s no need to set up diesel generators.

Second advantage JETRO described in its presentation was availability of gas which reduces fuel cost. Gujarat is the only state with gas-grid.

The third advantage of investing in Gujarat according to JETRO was its excellent roads which reduce damage and time for logistics and commuting.

JETRO chief said he was surprised at the transformation around Ahmedabad as Auto-hub in two years, which was remarkable. He said that their first project in Rajasthan took six years, but in Gujarat they would be much faster.
