Keshubhai Patel led Gujarat Parivartan Party today held a district level sammelan in Amreli in Saurashtra.

Amreli is one of the district where Leuva Patel population is high, and where Keshubhai and Gordhanbhai want to get good chunk of Leuva Patel votes.

The speeches were routine anti-Modi and anti-State govt speeches. Number of people attending the rall was high and as per the size of the ground – therefore as per the estimate of the organizers.

Keshubhai’s latest against Modi

In his blog post today Keshubhai Patel questioned Modi raising voice against centre for non completion of gate construction over Narmada dam. Keshubhai said, “Did Gujarat government complete the canal network works in time? Forget the storage of more water, in absence of total canal network is Gujarat government actually able to release existing water in canals?

Keshubhai also questioned Gujarat Chief Minister’s remark during his Kutch visit that the state would ask center to give land on both sides of railway track for fodder cultivation. Keshubhai said, “railway track is canal or what? if cows are left to have fodder on both sides of railway track, they will sit at railway track and will be killed by running trains for sure.”
