And here is the first look of a car designed and studded with thousands of Swarovski Gems, Gold and Silver. This car has been on display at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2013 mega exhibition venue. The car will be auctioned at the venue on 13 January, 2013 after 11.00 am. The base price has been fixed at Rs 5 crore. The entire proceeds will be donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. It is claimed that the car has been covered with one lakh gems, 3 Kg gold and 25 Kg silver by Austria’s Swarovski company. A team of five persons has arrived from London to judge suitability of entry of this car in Guinness book of world records. Similarly Limca book of records team will also visit Gandhinagar to watch the car.

Author’s note

It was widely publicized that this car will be a major attraction of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Fair event. But look at it’s poor, minimum and badly executed decoration. It just doesn’t match to the expectations. The design, decoration and minimum use of gems and precious stones – it’s very poor compare to how we found precious cars to be in the past.
