Spanish company T-Solar’s 2nd plant operational in Gujarat

According to a press statement, T-Solar, a Spanish independent solar power producer, has connected its second solar photovoltaic plant in India in Nayaka, Gujarat(the first plant is in Rajasthan) on February 6. The plant is equipped with 96,885 PV modules installed at a 36.4 hectare site. It has an installed capacity of 12.3 MW and will generate 19,400 units(19.4GWh) of electricity a year. It will help the country’s national grid to meet the rapidly growing demand for electricity. A press release from T-Solar further says that the company has invested €34 million in these two plants.
