Congress party in Vadodara has opposed city Mayor’s proposed Maxico tour.

According to spokesperson Shailesh Amin, the term of Mayor is going to end on 14th of next month, and she is going to be replaced with someone else on that date. Just before the end of her term, why she is visiting Europe and Mexico to study the BRTS project?

The Congress spokesperson said, Mayor’s participation in foreign workshop will not offer any benefit to the city, because soon after her visit she will have to put her papers.

It should be mentioned that Rs 340 crore Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) project(first phase) for Vadodara is proposed under JnNURM scheme of union government.
