Gujarat Government has selected the routes of Krishi Raths visiting different villages during the current year’s Krishi Mahotsav-cum-Cattle Health Camp after immaculate cluster-wise prior planning of each and every village, not covered during the previous eight editions of the Mahotasav.
The objective of the Mahotsav is to reach out to maximum number of cultivators and cattle-owners, virtually at their doorsteps, across the state. The Krishi Raths carry promotional materials to suit crops grown in the respective four major agro-climatic zones. Nearly a lakh of government employees, besides 800 agricultural scientists and veterinary doctors from four farm varsities, brave the scorching sun during the fortnight to cover as many villages as possible.
