Surat Police reactivates Friends of Police programme

Surat police has reactivated the Friends of Police programme in city.
Friends of Police programme has been restarted in city to get information on criminal activities.
Surat police has appointed friends of police in city’s Varachha, Kapodra, Punagam, Sarthana, Limbayat, Dindoli and Udhna police station areas.
A seminar to train and guide the FOPs was held at Varachha based Saurashtra Bhavan.
Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana provided guidance to new FOPs.
