Gujarat Congress has opposed Gujarat University’s decision to exclude Gujarat University affiliated 15 BBA, 13 BCA and 86 B.Ed colleges from centralized admission procedure.
According to Gujarat Congress Spokesperson Dr. Manish Doshi, merit-based transparent centralized admission procedure for 2250 BBA seats, 1560 BCA seats and 8600 B.Ed seats was good for common and middle class students and parents, but the present Vice Chancellor is planning to allow college managements to fill the seats directly on their own.
Doshi said, it is Gujarat government’s responsibility to stop commercialization of education. The traditional mechanism of centralized admission system should continue for common and middle class students.
