Senior BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP from Gujarat, Shri Lal Krishna Advani has skipped BJP’s party bearers meeting in Goa today.

When asked about Advani’s absence, BJP President Rajnath Singh told reporters that due to his poor health, it was he who asked Advaniji not to come, but Advaniji will reach Goa on Saturday.

In three-day long national meet of BJP at Goa, first day is going to witness the national office bearers meet, while second and third day will witness national executive meet.

BJP spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi in a press conference in the evening said that Mr. Advani is slightly unwell and he will be in Goa tomorrow.

Other leaders who are skipping the meet citing health reasons are Uma Bharti and Jaswant Singh.
