When Narendra Modi arrived at Goa

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today arrived at Goa to participate in BJP national office bearers meet today and two days national executive meeting of the party on 8-9 June.
Shri Modi received rousing welcome at Goa airport. Goa Chief Minister and senior Goa BJP leaders were present at airport to welcome Shri Modi.
Large number of party workers were present to welcome Shri Modi and watch his glimpse.
Amid the sound of band baja, party workers shouted slogans and welcomed Shri Modi. Reacting to their spirit, Shri Modi stood up on the foot rest of his car and waved hand. Shri Modi then went to the party workers standing behind the barricade and shook hand with them.
Speaking to media persons Shri Modi said that when he was leaving Ahmedabad, he came to know about death of union Finance Minister Shri P.Chidambaram’s mother. Shri Modi condoled the death. He said, “When I was leaving from Ahmedabad I got to know that the Finance Minister, Shri P Chidambaram’s mother has passed away. I pray to Almighty that her soul rests in peace and my condolences to the entire family. May God give them strength.” Modi then walked away without answering the questions on Goa BJP meet.
Shri Modi reached Marriott hotel in Goa a around 1.30 pm. He was again welcomed here by party workers through slogans.
Goa BJP unit has put dozens of cut-outs of Shri Modi all over the road that leads to venue of BJP meet in Goa.
