A seven story multilevel parking for two-wheelers and four-wheelers was inaugurated today near Kankaria lake front in Ahmedabad.

The parking complex is standing over 3900 sq.m. plot with basement+ground+7 story builtup in 6650 sq.m area.

It has capacity to accommodate 250 cars and 250 two-wheelers.

There are two lifts for vertical movement and 4 shuttles for horizontal movements. A parked car will be brought to the exit gate in 3-4 minutes.

Traffic barriers, ticketing machine, display of vacant slots, automatic parking system, swipe card, reader etc are used as technology support mechanisms.

A sum of Rs 28.15 crore, spent for this complex came from Chief Minister’s urban development scheme fund.

-Basement area: around 835 sq.m
-Ground+seven floor area: around 5815 sq.m
-1st, 3rd, 5th floor for SUV(106 nos)
-2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th floor for general cars(144 nos)
