It’s Fair Time!

People in district headquarters Jamnagar are celebrating two fairs – one in the river-bed of Rangmati-Nagmati river, and other at Nageshwar. Most of the people in this city are enjoying three holidays of Shitla satam, Janmashtami and Parna. Even government offices are closed. Thanks to good rain, people are in celebrating mood.
In Dwarka, the government buildings, hotels and guest houses are decorated with lighting. Religious organizations have set up stalls to serve the pilgrims.
Another nearby town Khambhalia is now witnessing a four-day long fair at Khamnath mahadev mandir.
At Jamjodhpur, an anual Janmashtami fair has been organized by local Gaushala. The fair was inaugurated by BJP leader Chimanbhai Saparia.
Gondal town is witnessing a fair at Sangramsinhji high school ground. This fair is visited by people from Gondal city/taluka, Kotdasangani and Vinchhiya belt.
Morbi town is now hosting annual Janmashtami fair near Dholeshwar mahadev mandir. Another Janmashtami fair in same town has been organized by Young India Group near Kamdhenu party plot.
The anual Janmashtami fair has been kicked off at district headquarters Rajkot. The city witnesses Gujarat’s biggest Janmashtami procession which is organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
