He had allegedly followed the Class X student on his two wheeler and had made lewd gestures at her. Parents of teen age girl who was allegedly harassed beat up him. Incident occurred in the afternoon when the girl was passing by on her two-wheeler. The girl panicked, she went to a temple and reported the matter to her parents, who immediately rushed there.

Neighbors gathered at the spot and thrashed the policeman on the road. Later, he was dragged to the Raopura police station barely 500 meters away and handed over to the police.The girl has filed a complaint of harassment and eve-teasing against him. Vaghela denied the incident.
