WHERE IS RAHUL GANDHI? RESERVED OR UNDER POOR CATEGORY?
This is really great initiative, thanks again to Modi’s vision. Healthcare costs have increased so much that it has become really difficult for poor or middle class to get quality treatment.
I also hope that hospitals are asked to keep their premises clean, I mean not just hospital area but its entire campus. Working in pharma industry, I have to visit doctors and hospitals regularly and there are hospitals where there is lot of rubbish and filth. This just spreads more diseases.
How do you define “Poor” patient? This is very necessary, bacause private hospitals always find loop-holes in system to cheat poor, and get some extra buck by selling those reserved beds to rich people.
Government should specific definition of poor patients, like income level etc., and what documents they have to submit.
Also, Government should form a auditing body to check frequently to see if this rule is followed properly, and poors of Gujarat State are benefitting from this rule. Otherwise, it is meaningless to have these kind of rules in place.

Now all the riches will try to find out how to be poor when entering hospital.
