Rulers rule the people, Narendrabhai rules the hearts:Rameshbha Oza

Ambaji, 12 February 2012

Speaking at Gujarat Chief Minister’s last Sadbhavana mission fast at Ambaji, kathakar sant Shri Rameshbhai Oza today compared Shri Narendra Modi’s Sadbahvana mission fasts with Ashwa Megha yagna of ancient India. Shri Oza in his speech said that a ruler has to lead the country for development and development can not be achieved without peace. Peace is the daughter of Sadbhavana and only in peace, a sate can develop further.

Shri Oza said, “In the course of my kathas, I need to go to the corners of the country outside Gujarat, and I use to ask the people to narrate their opinion on Gujarat, but nowadays many times, before I ask, they express their opinion and say that they have sweet envy for Gujarat, feeling that they should have a Chief Minister like Modi. I am saying this because I really come across such people.”

“In last years the state has achieved new heights in development and many institutions have backed this claim for which the credit should go to the Chief Minister,” Shri Oza added.

Shri Oza said that Sadbhavana is in foundation for such development.

He said while credit goes to all the Chief Ministers for foundation work of Sadbhavana, the construction of building on that foundation was done recently.

“In last ten years we have seen such a development that we never saw before,” Shri Oza said.

“I wished to remain present in one of the Sadbhavana fast functions. Today is not the end of Sadabhavana mission. In fact all 33 fasts was actually a sowing procedure, and the yield will be achieved now,” Shri Oza added.

Shri Oza specially congratulated the Chief Minister for Gujarat government’s decision to drop new amendments in the Trust act.

“Even you support the good work of Sadhu, saints and social institutions, but some provisions in Trust act could harm some genuine workers, and I am happy and satisfied that th Gujarat government has dropped the Trust act. The Chief Minister cares for the feeling of each class, that is his Sadbhavana in practice. Sadbhavana is not only fast, but it should be practiced on the ground,” Shri Oza added.

Without naming Congress party, Shri Oza in a lighter tone talked about Satkarma fast in his speech. He said, “Satkarma is the result of Sadbhavana. Wherever there is Sadbahvana, be sure that Satkarma would be there as a result. I am saying this in a broad meaning. Satkarma should also happen like it happens with every Sadbhavana fast of the Chief Minister.”

Shri Oza observed that such an atmosphere, and such support to the Chief Minister is similar to Ashwamegha yagna.

“There are two kinds of rulers; one who rule the people, and others are those who rule over their hearts. Shri Narendra Modi is ruling over the hears of the people. People have high regards for him which matches to a saint. Fast is good for health, and in our tradition we are advised to observe fast once in 15 days on Ekadashi. Narendrabhai is not only a leader but a true Sadhak. He observes Nakkorda fast during Navratri. I always believe that those who are serving the society should also be Sadhak. Sadhana in Himalaya is easier, but in public it is more difficult,” Shri Oza said.

Shri Oza admired Narendrabhai for a mixture of youthfulness and spirituality in his personality which was also found in Swami Vivekananda. Shri Oza praised Narendrabhai for his vision, goal and iron will.
