Presented above is a video of fire in petrol pump(what you call gas station in America). This horrific incident happened at around 2.00 pm in 40-year-old Market auto center pump of IOC in Surat’s Saiyadpura area. The incident took place when fuel was filled from a tanker that caught a fire. To prevent the pump from fire, a driver drove away his tanker to distance of one km and deserted it at Bhagal cross road.

Nobody is seriously hurt in this incident. Surat Fire Brigade’s entire strength was moved to this petrol pump.The fire tea first controlled the fire in tanker and then petrol pump.

Police had to control the crowds using some force to keep them at some distance from the place of incident. Locals were complaining that this was the third incident of fire in recent time.

It took around one hour to control the fire.

Fire brigade team deposited a big layer of foam over petrol in underground petrol tank that had presence of 8,000 liter fuel.
