City police has arrested Jay Patel, a biker who belongs to infamous and notorious bikers gang of western Ahmedabad.

According to eye witnesses, yesterday night at around 2.00 am, a bikers gang started breaking the glasses of around 7 -8 four wheelers including bus & number of cars in Satellite, Drive In Road, Surdhara circle, Sudarshan Tower & Gurukul areas.

One Sanjay Patel, owner of Just Misscall, followed the bikers. Seeing that somebody is following them, the bikers escaped towards Manav Mandir and divided into two groups. While other bikes moved towards Subhash chowk and disappeared amid traffic, Mr Sanjay successfully focused on and followed one particular bike with RTO registration no GJ 1 MC 4804. This bike with three persons riding over it was going towards helmet circle with speed of about 100 to 120km/hr. At one point this biled slipped and the youths also faced some injury, but while two youths could successfully escaped by sneaking into a Sunflower hospital, one biker Jay Patel was nabbed by the people. Jay Patel was nabbed by a huge crowed of passengers waiting for bus to Rajasthan in front of the hospital. They suspected a crime incident and caught Jay Patel.

Meanwhile other car owners, searching for bikers also reached here and started thrashing Jay Patel. Mr Sanjay informed police control room through his friend’s cell phone and police arrived there promptly to arrest Jay Patel. Police took Jay to Vastrapur Police Station. Sanjay Patel later filed complaint against Jay Patel and other unidentified gang members who created an atmosphere of fear in residential locality.

Police said the other bikers belonging to this gang will also be nabbed soon.

For last some time in western part of the city of Ahmedabad, some notorious bikers form groups and start driving speedily in residential areas. They shout loudly and create an atmosphere of fear. They throw stones over the cars and sometime in the houses. Cars parked in the streets are regularly targeted by them. These youths select different streets and localities every time. Now when the police has one of the members of bikers gang, all bikers must be found out and brought to custody. Such madness can not be tolerated.
