Rs 7.10 crore work to develop picnic spot at Ranjit Sagar dam kicks off

Ranjit Sagar dam, a reservoir that provides water to the city of Jamnagar will be developed as a picnic spot.
A downstream development project of Rs 7.10 crore was kicked off today by minister of state Vasuben Trivedi.
The project is jointly sponsored by state tourism department and Chief Minister urban development scheme.
The park and facilities will come up over total 2,17,100 square ft area. Facilities like new party loan, temple, food zone, colorful fountains, guest house and boating etc are to be developed by private firm Shanti construction under the project which is targeted to complete in one year.
