When asked about the story of development of Gujarat, Ambika Soni preferred Salman Khurshid to speak, Salman Khurshid clarified that he and two other ministers were not here to comment on Gujarat government. But the journalist was adamant on getting the answer. Finally P.Chidambaram took the mic and talked about the development story of Gujarat. He accepted the development story but tried to prove a point that there was a role of the central government too. Replying another question on alleged injustice to Gujarat, Chidambaram delivered the figures of substantial increase in the plan figure of Gujarat.
