A wild leopard entered into a house of Chimanbhai Ranparia in Junagadh district’s Nagalpur village today morning. It took about four hours to cage this wild animal.
A leopard had initially entered into the village while following its prey. When it came inside the market area, people gathered and started shouting and rushing here and there. Panicked leopard jumped into a house with open door in reaction. House owner Chimanbhai closed the door and locked it before calling the forest department.
Local forest team arrived in the village, and decided to call further team from Gir jungle.
A rescue team from Gir jungle fired a shot from tranquilizer gun and caged the leopard which was later released in forest area.
