Gujarat Congress’s three-day drive of ‘Ghar nu ghar’ form distribution

Gujarat Congress will start a three-day form distribution drive of ‘own home’ scheme from 20th August covering each ward of 8 municipal corporations, 160 municipalities and other areas.
Total number of 20 lakh forms will be distributed among only women.
In Ahmedabad the forms are to be distributed at 64 different places between 10.30 am to 5.00 pm.
‘Own home’ or ‘Ghar nu ghar’ scheme is declared by Gujarat Congress under its 12-point poll agenda. If elected to power the party will give houses at low rates starting from Rs 72,000 (rest amount to be paid with interest in installments) to women members of homeless families. The party has started issuing forms of this scheme before an announcement of Gujarat assembly elections that are to be held by the end of this year.
