Six members Ahmedbad based family killed in Expressway accident

Six person belonging to Ahmedabad’s Ghiya family died in accident on Ahmedabad-Vadodara express highway early in the morning today near Dodka village close to Vadodara. The family was on way to Saputara to enjoy holidays. While six persons died on the spot, two persons survived were taken to hospital for treatment.
Ahmedabad’s Ambavadi-polytechnic area resident Jayantibhai Ghiya(40) and his brother Bopal based Sandipbhai Ghiya had planned Saputara holidays. They left Ahmedabad in two wagon-R cars with children and spouses. However one car faced puncture near Dodka village. Both brothers parked their cars on one side of the highway. While both brothers were in process to replace punctured tire with spare wheel, a truck hit the cars and dragged halted cars ten ft away.

Kishant Devang Ghiya(13)
Bhavya Devang Ghiya(8)
Madhuri Sandip Ghiya(35)
Prit Sandip Ghiya(12)
Sandip Mahendrabhai Ghiya and Manav Sandipbhai Ghiya are admitted to hospital. Unidentified truck involved in this hit and run incident is being identified through CCTV footage.
