Mercury shoot up above 45°C again, heat-wave makes another come-back, likely to continue tomorrow as well

Ahmedabad:
Heat-waves today made a comeback again after a brief break of a day in various parts of Gujarat with mercury again shooting up above 45 °C.
At least five places across Gujarat saw temperatures at or above 44 °C. Kandla Airport with 45.3 °C remained hottest while Surendranagar at 45 °C was second hottest.
Met bulletin has predicted continuation of heat wave tomorrow as well.
Ahmedabad city today saw maximum of 43.5 °C which was almost 2 notches above normal. Owing to humidity in the air, at times perspiring hotness was felt.
