A town in Saurashtra shuts down to invoke rain God(Video)

Saurashtra’s Rajula town today observed one-day-closure to invoke rain God.
All traders and businessmen today stayed away from their work and joined Parjanya yagna event in campus of Kumbhanath mandir for good rain this monsoon.
“As per the tradition, when rain is delayed or insufficient, we perform Parjanya yagna ceremony and shut down entire town for a day. In past we have experienced good results,” Shri Bhupatbhai Soni, a local trader told DeshGujarat.
