According to the Meteorological Department, conditions are favourable for the southwest monsoon to advance into the remaining parts of Gujarat during the next two to three days. As a trough is currently active from the North Arabian Sea towards Saurashtra-Kutch and Madhya Pradesh, rainfall activity is likely to increase.

Furthermore, as per the IMD bulletin, except for Kutch, Vav-Tharad, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Morbi, and Surendranagar, rain is likely in all other parts of the state over the next three days, till July 1.

After that, the IMD has predicted rainfall in all districts of Gujarat from July 2 to July 5.

Generally cloudy weather is likely over Ahmedabad till the morning of June 30. The city may receive one or two spells of rain or thundershowers, and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius. DeshGujarat
