Western Railway to Run Udhna-Madhubani and Udhna-Jhanjharpur Special Trains

Surat: Western Railway has announced the operation of special fare trains between Udhna in Surat and Bihar’s Madhubani and Jhanjharpur to cater to passenger demand. Advance booking for the services commenced on June 5.
A total of two round trips of the Udhna–Madhubani Special will be operated. Train No. 09045 Udhna–Madhubani Special will depart from Udhna at 1.30 pm on June 7 and June 14 (Sundays) and reach Madhubani at 4.15 pm the following day. On the return journey, Train No. 09046 Madhubani–Udhna Special will leave Madhubani at 6.15 pm on June 8 and June 15 (Mondays) and arrive at Udhna at 1.15 pm on Wednesday.
Similarly, two round trips of the Udhna–Jhanjharpur Special will be run. Train No. 09047 Udhna–Jhanjharpur Special will depart Udhna at 5.30 am on June 7 and June 14 and reach Jhanjharpur at 8.30 pm the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 09048 Jhanjharpur–Udhna Special will depart at 10.30 pm on June 8 and June 15 and arrive at Udhna at 1.45 pm on Wednesday.
The trains will halt at major stations including Chalthan, Bardoli, Nandurbar, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Patliputra, Sonepur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Sakri Junction in both directions.
The special trains will comprise AC, sleeper and general second-class coaches.
Railway officials said online and offline bookings for Train Nos. 09045 and 09047 opened at 8 am on June 5 through PRS counters and the official IRCTC portal. DeshGujarat
