Tana-Riri Music Museum in Vadnagar to Have 8 Galleries, 360-Degree Projections; CM Reviews Progress

Vadnagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday visited the under construction ‘Music Museum’ in Vadnagar and reviewed the progress of the project. This museum, dedicated to the memory of Tana-Riri, will become an important cultural centre showcasing the rich tradition and heritage of Indian music at the global level, a press release said.

Eight special thematic galleries are being developed in the museum, which will showcase primitive music, nature music, folk music, devotional music, public music, raga music, and musical trends developed from the confluence of various cultures. The life and musical legacy of Tana-Riri has also been given a special place.

The main attraction of this project will be 360-degree immersive projections, interactive installations, and state-of-the-art audio-visual presentations, through which visitors will get a live experience of music.

The complex is also being developed with a music library, recording studio, and special facilities for educational activities. After the completion of the project, Vadnagar will gain a new identity as a global centre of Indian musical heritage.

The Chief Minister received information about the various galleries and exhibition arrangements of the museum and gave necessary guidance to complete the work on time. The museum will present the thousands-year-old journey of Indian music from primitive times to modern times through modern technology. DeshGujarat
